TattooArtists Protective Tattoo Film
TattooArtists Repairing Film is a flexible, breathable and Waterproof protective film used to protect your tattoo and assist with hassle free healing by keeping out dirt and germs. (Please read below for details and precautions.)
One Tube is 15cm by 1000cm and can be cut to fit each tattoo design.
A very thin layer of non-mineral oil ointment should be placed on the freshly cleaned and dried tattoo which will assist with removal later. The first piece of Protective Tattoo Film can be left on the skin for UP TO 24 hours however, this will vary from person to person depending on the amount of fluids the fresh tattoo exudes.
A second piece can be used once the first has been removed in the case of excessive bleeding or weeping and can be left on up to 48 hours.
Your client should use their discretion when determining whether the film should be left on or removed. In severe heat and humidity with excessive sweating, it is best not to keep a would covered. In cases of excess bleeding and weeping, it is important to keep a wound clean and dry and a new film be used. Each time a fresh piece of film is put on a thin layer of non-mineral oil ointment needs to be applied to the tattoo to assist with removing the adhesive film.
